Alyce Harper

Alyce is a Senior Consultant at Caliba who specialises in contract management and project procurement in the Heavy Industry.

Alyce started her career providing financial services to a range of industries including defence, engineering and tourism. She then transitioned to the mining, oil and gas industry where she worked on several major projects in the Northern Territory and Queensland in a site administration/QAQC capacity. This provided Alyce insight into the day-to-day running of a project where she gained the organisational, problem-solving and stakeholder engagement skills required to lead a successful project.

Most recently, Alyce spent the last 5.5 years at BHP / BMA where she led complex tenders and implemented contracts across the BMA portfolio. Alyce’s scope included site engineering and civil projects, major maintenance shutdowns and a strong focus on risk reduction and safety.

This variety in scope provided Alyce the significant opportunity to grow her knowledge, skills and experience in the contracts and procurement space, as well as the ability to adapt to a range of client challenges.

Alyce holds a Cert IV in Project Management, a Cert IV in Financial Services (Bookkeeping) and is working towards CIPS certification.
